Webster (Achilles) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Webster continues to progress in his recovery from a ruptured Achilles sustained in Week 14 of the 2017 season. His limited participations in practice are a good sign, but the 27-year-old still does not appear to be nearing a full return to the field. Johnson Bademosi will continue to serve as Houston's backup left cornerback as long as Webster remains sidelined.

Webster (Achilles) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Webster is still in the process of recovering from the ruptured Achilles he suffered in Week 14 of last season. He finally practiced, albeit in limited fashion, on Friday, which is a positive step. Still, he will remain sidelined for Week 3.

Webster (Achilles) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Webster is progressing well in his recovery, but is not yet close to making an on-field return. The 27-year-old has yet to practice during the 2018 season, so Johnson Bademosi will continue to serve as Houston's backup left cornerback for the foreseeable future.

Webster (Achilles) will not suit up against the Titans on Sunday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though Webster is not yet ready for on-field action, coach Bill O'Brien said the cornerback is "heading in the right direction," and "will be part of that rotation" once healthy. The 27-year-old has not yet practiced during the 2018 regular season, so Webster is likely still multiple weeks away from a full recovery.

Webster (Achilles) didn't practice Friday and is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
It appears Webster isn't fully healed from the ruptured Achilles he suffered in Week 14 of last season. The fact that he didn't practice all week signals that recovery may not be that close either. The 27-year-old made 38 tackles, seven pass breakups and one interception in 11 games for the Rams last year. He may be stuck in a special teams role in Houston once he's healthy.

Webster (Achilles) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.
EDGE Analysis
Webster missed the final three games of the 2017 season on injured reserve with a ruptured Achilles and then spent the majority of the offseason in recovery. While it isn't clear how much longer he's expected to be sidelined, the Texans likely wouldn't have handed him a contract if Webster isn't expected to play anytime soon.

Webster (Achilles) signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the Texans on Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Webster, who started 11 games at cornerback for the Rams last season, provides solid depth for a Texans team that is currently without the services of Kevin Johnson (concussion) and Aaron Colvin (undisclosed). While it isn't entirely clear where Webster stands in his recovery from the Achilles injury that planted him on injured reserve last December, Patrick Starr of Sports Talk 790 relayed that Webster went through a workout with Houston coaches before signing Sunday, so it seems as if the defensive back is back to full strength.

Webster (Achilles/shoulder) was released by the Rams on Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
This move isn't a huge surprise considering the Rams have already added cornerbacks Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib and Sam Shields this offseason and saved roughly $4 million by letting Webster loose. Furthermore, Webster is on the mend from a ruptured Achilles tendon and is unlikely to be available for the start of the upcoming season. In fact, this kind of injury can sometimes take up to a year to recover from and, since he went down in December, there's a real possibility that Webster won't be available to play until the latter half of the 2018 campaign.

Webster had shoulder surgery recently, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Webster is already rehabbing a ruptured Achilles, which is why now was the right time for shoulder surgery. Therefore, his timeline for return will rely on how his Achilles heals -- not his shoulder.

Webster (Achilles) reported via his personal Instagram account that he has resumed walking with the assistance of a boot and anti-gravity treadmill.
EDGE Analysis
Webster is in the beginning stages of his recovery from a ruptured Achilles he suffered in early December. He's set to return to Los Angeles in 2018 but isn't certain to be fully healthy when the season opener rolls around -- and could possibly be a PUP-list candidate depending on how fast his injury takes to heal.
