Peppers has been cleared of any steroid use following a meeting with NFL league officials, Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Peppers, as well as Clay Matthews and James Harrison, were all linked to PED use in an Al-Jazeera documentary early this offseason, which eventually prompted an interview with league officials. However, after going through the interviews, all three had their names cleared Wednesday and will not face any sort of suspension. Peppers should be ready to go for Week 1 and is slated to reclaim his job as a starter in his 15th NFL season.

Peppers has agreed to meet with the NFL, who has threatened a suspension due to allegations linked to steroid use from an Al-Jazeera documentary called The Dark Side, Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
With a potential suspension hanging over his head, Peppers will in fact explain his mention in the documentary, despite submitting an affidavit regarding the allegations to the NFL. The date of the interview is unknown, but the Packers should have some clarity regarding its pass-rushing duo (also, Clay Matthews) in the near future.

Peppers, Clay Matthews and free-agent Mike Neal will be suspended beginning Aug. 26 if they don't agree to be interviewed by the league about allegations linking the players to performance-enhancing drugs in the Al Jazeera America documentary The Dark Side, USA Today reports.
EDGE Analysis
The NFL Players Association has said the players submitted affidavits to the league about the allegations, but the league wants to interview the players in person. The edict from the league sets up a showdown which raises the possibility that Peppers could be suspended for regular season games.

Peppers finished his fourteenth season with 37 tackles, including 10.5 sacks.
EDGE Analysis
Peppers saw his sack total go from seven in his first year in Green Bay to 10.5 last season, an even more impressive increase when you consider that his defensive snap percentage dropped from 73.9 to 66.6 percent from his first year as a Packer to his second. The reduction in snap percentage is likely an effort to increase his longevity and effectiveness, and it appears to have done both, with Peppers expected to return for his 15th season, for which he'll be 36 years old. He started every game last season and has been very effective as a pass rusher since joining the Packers in 2014. As a result, there's nothing to indicate that he won't be equally impactful in 2016.

Peppers recorded four tackles with 1.5 sacks in Sunday's Week 1 opener against the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
After recording seven sacks in his first season with the Packers last year, Peppers got off to a great start in 2015 on Sunday. The veteran pass rusher is in his 14th season at age 35, but he's showing no signs of slowing down. Peppers could provide solid value as an IDP this year.

Peppers racked up 44 tackles (29 solo), seven sacks, four forced fumbles, two interceptions, 11 pass deflections, and two touchdowns over 16 games in his first season with the Packers. Peppers' sack and tackle numbers essentially mimicked what he posted in 2013, but he did a much better job forcing turnovers and knocking down passes. Peppers remains under contract with the Packers, but given that he is 35 years old and is currently due $9.5 million in 2015, his next step is uncertain.
