Grimes rushed once for one yard and didn't factor into the passing game Sunday against the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
One week after rushing seven times for 53 yards, Grimes' touches were extremely limited as Alfred Blue had 20 carries for 107 yards. Making matters worse, Akeem Hunt (five carries for 26 yards) and Chris Polk (four carries for six yards) all had more touches that Grimes, whose fantasy upside seems very limited right now.

Grimes had seven carries for 53 yards and two receptions for nine yards (on two targets) in Sunday's 27-7 loss to the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
According to Pro Football Focus, Alfred Blue didn't get any snaps, leaving Grimes (23 snaps) and Chris Polk (22) to split the workload, with Akeem Hunt (seven) also pitching in. Grimes had an impressive 37-yard carry early in Sunday's game, but he's still part of a timeshare in one of the NFL's least productive backfields. The Texans have a crucial Week 15 matchup with the Colts.

Grimes carried the ball five times for 28 yards, caught both of his targets for 11 yards and scored a two-point conversion in Sunday's 30-21 loss to Buffalo.
EDGE Analysis
Grimes has been getting between seven and eight touches per game in the last four weeks as the Texans have relied on a committee approach to replace Arian Foster's production. He'd be a real gamble to put in a fantasy team's starting lineup.

Grimes rushed for 25 yards on seven carries and added a eight-yard reception in Sunday's win over New Orleans.
EDGE Analysis
After managing just two catches and no carries during a three-game stretch, Grimes has collected 24 touches over the past three weeks, four more than No. 2 back Chris Polk. The Texans rank ninth in the league in rushing attempts, so there are plenty of opportunities to go around in Houston, but Grimes should not be considered a fantasy factor until he starts scoring touchdowns, something he has yet to do this season.

Grimes rushed for a season-high 37 yards on six carries and caught all three of his targets for 28 yards in Sunday's win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
The 65 yards gained from scrimmage were also a season high for Grimes. He generally shares the backup duties with Chris Polk, but Polk was inactive for this game due to a hamstring injury.

Grimes rushed for a team-high 33 yards on six carries and caught one pass for 12 yards in Monday night's game against the Bengals.
EDGE Analysis
Grimes provided a nice alternative to starter Alfred Blue, who struggled to get going once again Monday. In averaging over five yards per carry, Grimes could warrant more work this weekend against the Jets, but the Texans' running game has proven difficult to rely on for the most part this season.

Grimes is listed as the No. 2 running back on the Texans' depth chart coming out of Houston's Week 9 bye.
EDGE Analysis
Alfred Blue remains the starting running back for the Texans, but Grimes and Chris Polk traded places during the bye week. It's not immediately clear how the switch will affect Grimes' workload, but it seems likely he will be more involved in Week 10 after tallying just two total touches over the last three games.

Grimes caught two passes (three targets) for 12 yards in Week 8's 20-6 win over Tennessee.
EDGE Analysis
In the first game after Arian Foster (Achilles) was lost for the season, the running back order was Alfred Blue, Chris Polk and then Grimes.

Grimes (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
With starter Arian Foster able to handle a heavy workload these days, Grimes is a speculative play in fantasy as long as Foster can stay healthy.

Grimes (hamstring) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Fellow RB Alfred Blue is listed as questionable for the contest, though with starter Arian Foster able to handle a heavy workload these days, any of his backups are speculative plays in fantasy.
