Young (Achilles) will not play in Week 17 against the Vikings, ESPN's Mike C. Wright reports. Young sustained the injury in the third quarter of Sunday's game, and with the Bears already eliminated from the playoff race, it will effectively end his season. He'll finish the year with a total of 40 combined tackles and 10 sacks, and leave either David Bass or Cornelius Washington to pick up the reps he leaves behind.
