Woodhead gained 10 yards on eight carries and had a rushing touchdown, while securing all six of his targets for fifty yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 30-14 victory over the Dolphins.

After just one touchdown over the last six weeks, Woodhead exploded with what may have been his best overall game of the season. The Dolphins appeared to have no answer for Woodhead through the air, with his three touchdown receptions representing a career-high for the eight-year veteran. While he typically provides next to nothing on the ground, Woodhead has now posted at least six receptions in five games this season, and has tallied nine total touchdowns in 2015. Backfield mate Melvin Gordon's knee injury is not likely to increase Woodhead's workload even if the rookie misses time, as the his role as a pass-catching specialist figures to remain unchanged regardless of the rookie's status.
Well, here's a lesson in not second guessing yourself. Took Woodhead out of the lineup last minute in favor of Baltimore's J. Allen. 33 point swing relegating me to the third place game. I read too much about the Woodhead/Gordon dynamic the days before and ended up talking myself out of my first gut reaction.
Ummm...hindsight is 20/20. Allen had been dominating carries and the San Diego offense had been beyond anemic. It is laughable to go back and say that Stan's move was some sort of blunder. In fact, I think it was the more logical decision. If it wasn't for Allen getting benched for fumbling, he would have probably been fine.
