Wilhoite recorded nine tackles (eight solo) and picked off his second pass of the season in Sunday's win over the Cardinals. With injuries to the 49ers' starting linebackers, Wilhoite was asked to start for the entire 2014 season. He finished with 87 tackles (67 solo), no sacks, and a pair of interceptions. His tackle totals were decent, but his IDP performance was otherwise disappointing considering how much playing time he received. Wilhoite will enter free agency in 2015 and could provide linebacker depth for whoever he signs with.
