Watt has been named the AP 2014 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, NFL.com reports. Watt caps off a historic season with the hardware to prove it, as the 25-year-old defensive end collected 20.5 sacks and five total touchdowns. The IDP star has now racked up 51.5 total sacks over the last three seasons combined, and led the league in 2014 with 50 quarterback hits. He's just the second player every to win the award twice in three seasons, and will almost certainly be the preseason favorite to do so again in 2015. Heading in to next season, Watt should be the No. 1 defensive player taken in fantasy drafts in nearly every format.
