Vikings FB Jerome Felton will miss the rest of the preseason after undergoing an emergency appendectomy Wednesday. Felton should be fully recovered in two weeks, but the Vikings are going to hold their Pro Bowl lead blocker out until the September 8 opener. Pro Football Focus graded Felton out as its No. 5 fullback last season, and the Vikings rewarded him with a three-year, $7.5 million extension in March.
