"Had surgery this morning to fix an ongoing problem," Cason wrote on Instagram. The 28-year-old started 11 games for the Panthers last year, recording 58 tackles, four forced fumbles and two interceptions before being released after Week 13. He was then picked up by the Ravens and played in two games, failing to record any stats in either contest.
