Titans released C Eugene Amano. The writing has been on the wall for a couple of months. Amano, 31, missed all of last season with a torn triceps muscle. The nine-year veteran has started 68 games in his career, but he needed to be replaced. Amano was set to count over $6 million against the salary cap this year. The Titans are moving forward with Fernando Velasco and rookie Brian Schwenke at center.
