Thomas, who has yet to sign his franchise tender, is not expected to show up for a mandatory minicamp that starts Wednesday, the Denver Post reports. Thomas cannot be fined for missing the minicamp because he hasn't signed the one-year, $12.82 million tender. He and the Broncos have until July 15 to reach a long-term extension, or else Thomas will have to play under the one-year franchise tag. The most likely outcome has the two sides reaching an agreement by that date, but either way, Thomas figures to suit up for the Broncos in Week 1. Although the team is expected to run the ball more often this season, Thomas should still see plenty of targets, as Julius Thomas and Wes Welker are no longer with the Broncos.
