The Tampa Bay Times reports a belief that Kellen Winslow wouldn't "fully accept" new Bucs coach Greg Schiano's hard-nosed style was "widely believed" to be a factor in his trade to the Seahawks. Schiano is adopting an absolute-power approach in Tampa, and clearly didn't think Winslow would abide. Of course, it surely didn't hurt that Winslow's playmaking ability has all but evaporated while his guaranteed money had already been paid. It will be extremely interesting to see how Schiano's heavy-handed approach translates from the Big East to the big leagues.

I get a kick out of these so-called reporters always talking about Winslow Jr's play making ablility. His #s have always been about the same. His play making ability never really evaporated, it just never lived up to the hype he came into the league with. 2007 was the only season he broke 1,000 yards. Other than that year, his #s were always somewhere around 70 - 80 catches per year for somewhere in the range of 750 - 850 yards per season. He never scored more than 5 TD's in any 1 season. His attitude has always been the biggest issue.
