The Kansas City Star says that TE Jake O'Connell is "in a fight for his roster spot." The Chiefs added Kevin Boss this offseason and Tony Moeaki (knee) is tentatively expected to be ready for Week 1. O'Connell had seven catches for 52 yards in eight games played last season.
