The Jaguars will release Blackmon, the Florida Times-Union reports. The move saves the Jags $920,000 against their salary cap, with Blackmon a candidate to catch on elsewhere as a depth cornerback, on the heels of a 2014 season in which he was limited to eight games, recording 30 tackles and a sack in the process.
