The Cowboys have until Sunday to officially pick up the 2016 option on Claiborne (knee), DallasCowboys.com reports. The oft-injured Claiborne is expected to miss the beginning of training camp as he recovers from a patellar tendon injury, and the fact that the Cowboys used their first round pick on Byron Jones does cloud Claiborne's future with the team somewhat. Chances are the Cowboys will pick up the option though, in the hopes that Claiborne can finally stay healthy and begin to play up to his potential.
