The 49ers have released McDonald, the team's official site reports. "We as an organization have notified (McDonald) and his agent that we have terminated his contract," GM Trent Baalke indicated Wednesday in a statement relayed by the 49ers' official site, following the team's release of the defensive tackle. "Ray has demonstrated a pattern of poor decision-making that is no longer going to be tolerated."
