Tate caught six passes (across 12 targets) for 93 yards Sunday against the Redskins.
EDGE Analysis
Tate was unable to replicate his career day from a week ago, but would have came close had he stayed in bounds to secure a touchdown pass from QB Matt Stafford in the fourth quarter. What's more, his 12 targets easily led the team, as the next closest receiver, Marvin Jones, garnered just five. That brings Tate to 22 targets in two games, more than the previous three combined. As such, it appears the Lions have a newfound commitment to feature Tate in the passing game. If he continues to see this amount of attention on a weekly basis, even more productive days are sure to follow.
