Starks turned five carries into 13 yards, but wasn't targeted in the passing game during Friday's preseason opener against the Browns.
EDGE Analysis
Starks got one more touch than presumed starter Eddie Lacy, but his fairly defined role eliminates the need for the backup running back to see much early preseason action. Second-year man John Crockett was able to find the end zone in this one, but Starks still has a leg up on him after rushing for over 600 yards in 2015.
