Sproles led the Eagles with 12 carries, topping teammate Ryan Mathews' mark of nine Monday. Although Mathews' total included two totes that he took for short touchdowns, Sproles also got a couple goal line calls, but couldn't punch the ball in. On the whole, Sproles couldn't find much room to run Monday, but after getting just seven touches in Week 1, the fact that he doubled that in Philadelphia's second game seems encouraging ahead of Sunday's in-state meeting with the Steelers.
