Sproles carried two times for 19 yards and caught eight of 10 targets for an additional 57 yards in Sunday's 24-15 loss to the Falcons.

EDGE Analysis

Although Sproles was referred to as the starting tailback earlier in the week, he tied his season-low in carries and saw Ryan Mathews combine with Wendell Smallwood for 209 scrimmage yards and a pair of touchdowns. It appears the backfield rotation isn't as stable as it appeared heading into the week and it will be difficult to endorse using Sproles or either of his two teammates next week against the Seahawks on the road.
