Seahawks GM John Schneider said DT Tony McDaniel would likely get the first crack at replacing Alan Branch as the run-stuffing defensive tackle. Branch, 6-foot-6 and 325 pounds, started all 16 games last season and graded out in the bottom half of Pro Football Focus' defensive tackle rankings when it came to stopping the run. McDaniel is listed at 6-foot-7 and 305 pounds, and he has started just five games over his seven-year career. Seattle could look to add a defensive tackle in the draft.
