Romo was quickly ruled out from returning to Thursday's game against the Panthers after team trainers diagnosed him with a left clavicle injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Romo ended the game with 11 completions on 21 attempts for 106 yards, no touchdowns, and three interceptions. The fact that the Cowboys are already specifying a particular bone as it pertains to Romo's injury is not a good sign for the quarterback, who previously fractured his clavicle in a Week 2 game against the Eagles and missed the Cowboys' next seven contests. Romo, who suffered the injury when he fell on his shoulder after being sacked by the Panthers' Thomas Davis, will still undergo the necessary X-rays before another fracture is confirmed, but it's believed that another long absence is in store for Romo. The Cowboys were trailing 30-6 when Romo departed at the end of the third quarter and look poised to fall to 3-8, which would effectively quash their playoff hopes, especially if Romo ends up missing the remainder of the season. Matt Cassel replaced Romo in Thursday's game and will likely take over as the starting quarterback if Romo is indeed ruled out for the Week 13 matchup with Washington.

I really think after this season they will invest in a QB. Romo is exactly what Darren Mcfadden is...talented but injury prone.

via draft or via someone else's scraps? they seem to have settled with picking off the scrap heap across the board.
