Richardson (concussion) did positional drills while wearing a non-contact jersey at Thursday's practice, NJ.com reports.

Richardson was the third back to enter the second preseason game, ahead of Zac Stacy, but quickly was forced from the game with the concussion. It would appear that he and Stacy are competing for the third running back role on the team. With the Jets expected to keep fullback Tommy Bohanon, they're likely to only carry three running backs on the regular season roster. Based on his practice participation, he's likely doubtful for Saturday's game against the Giants.
