Pryor, who leads the Browns with 17 targets, figures to remain a key option at wideout Sunday in the absence of Corey Coleman (hand).
EDGE Analysis
Pryor has been a staple in the Cleveland passing game through the season's first two weeks, whether it was Robert Griffin or Josh McCown (collarbone) under center for the Browns. Even with Cody Kessler in line to start at QB Sunday, Pryor should be a key cog in Cleveland's passing game, as leading pass catcher Corey Coleman is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks with a fractured hand. Coleman was the only other wide receiver to see double-digit targets, and had led the receiving group in yardage (173) and touchdowns (2). Andrew Hawkins is also expected to see an increased role in the passing game out of the slot, but the 27-year-old Pryor is likely the more explosive threat. Pryor, a former collegiate quarterback, also could be a candidate to be used in trick plays for Week 3's tilt against Miami.
