Powell is in the mix to return kicks in Week 1, the New York Daily News reports.

It appears that Powell is healed from the ankle injury he suffered on August 31, since he's being considered for kickoff duty. New head coach Todd Bowles said that either Powell, Zac Stacy or Chris Owusu would return kicks Sunday against the Browns. He's also set to be the backup running back to Chris Ivory.
