Panthers coach Ron Rivera said he hasn't decided whether CB Josh Thomas will start in Thursday's night game against the Bucs. Thomas was benched in the second half of Week 7 after getting beat twice deep. He'll likely be replaced by undrafted rookie Melvin White in the starting lineup and limited to a sub-package role this week. Thomas has struggled in pass coverage this season, but is currently the No. 6 corner in run support by Pro Football Focus. Perhaps the Panthers should consider a move to safety.
