Palmer completed 12 of 25 passes for just 129 yards with one touchdown and one interception in Sunday's 36-6 blowout loss to Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
With possible homefield advantage throughout the NFC Playoffs at stake, Palmer really disappointed and was pulled in the third quarter with the game out of hand. His interception in the first half came on either a really poor throw or major miscommunication with rookie wideout J.J. Nelson. Other than a surprising clunker at San Francisco in Week 12, Palmer had been remarkably consistent and productive, averaging over 300 yards and two touchdowns per game. Obviously that was not the case Sunday against a solid Seahawks' defense. On the bright side, he did cap off a spectacular overall season, setting a franchise record with 4,671 passing yards, while tossing 35 touchdowns. With a first-round bye in the NFC, Palmer will be one of the top QBs taken in playoff leagues.
