Nelson gathered in five of 11 targets for 73 yards and one touchdown in Sunday night's loss at Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
The communication between Nelson and Aaron Rodgers has yet to settle on a happy medium, as evidenced by a measly 45 percent catch rate in this contest. Granted, Nelson salvaged his evening with a one-yard touchdown for the game's first score, which came on the heels of a defensive holding call on the wideout from Vikings defensive back Terence Newman. On the other side of the coin, Rodgers clearly expected Nelson to be prepared for certain back-shoulder throws, in particular, that instead fell incomplete. With end-zone visits in back-to-back weeks, it's difficult to be disappointed in Nelson's initial outings following an ACL tear, but his 9.5 YPC to date falls well short of his mark of 15.3 YPC prior to the injury.
