Moore has been named the Cowboys' starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Bills, NFL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moore replaced teammate Matt Cassel during the second quarter of Saturday's loss to the Jets, and went on to throw for 158 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. While those numbers are rather underwhelming, Saturday's loss finally eliminated the Cowboys from playoff contention, thus giving Dallas' coaching staff an opportunity to evaluate their roster over the final two regular season games. Compared to the 33-year-old Cassel, Moore is far more of a long-term prospect at quarterback, so the Cowboys will give him more chances to impress while leading their offense Sunday against the Bills.
