Melton (knee) has a serious bone bruise and will not play in the postseason, Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. An MRI on Monday revealed the injury, which Melton suffered in Week 17 against Washington. While bone bruises typically aren't overly serious, Melton's is nearly a fracture, so the team has made the call to rule him out for the playoffs, which begin this weekend against the Lions.
