McCoy has been traded to Buffalo in exchange for linebacker Kiko Alonso, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
McCoy would have represented nearly a $12 million cap hit for the Eagles in 2015, but they'll instead ship him out of town in a move that significantly bolsters their defense. The 26-year-old back was commonly one of the top-2 players taken in standard fantasy drafts in 2014, but didn't really live up to that ADP, rushing for 1,319 yards and recording just five combined touchdowns. His projected fantasy value takes a bit of a hit in Buffalo, where a slower-paced team will mean less opportunities for touches. On the bright side, C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson are both on expiring contracts, so McCoy may be able to earn the elusive title of "feature" back. He'll still have to hold off Anthony Dixon and former teammate Bryce Brown for touches, however.
For real. If he stays healthy and plays at the level he played at before injury, i'm cool. If Chip goes and spends most of this money on defense he will prove a lot of people wrong. I was completely against trading all these pics for Mariota only because we need D-Backs soooo bad. If he signs the best free agent, veteran D-Backs, this could turn into a top 5 Defense. He obviously feels that the success of his past offense's was more attributed to his play calling and not the players themselves. He just wants good players that buy into what he's selling. Not great players who think they are above the game.
What a steal huh? But the Jets had a decent running game when Ivory had the ball. Geno/Vick situation didn't help, so I don't know if Manuel will be better.
jets went deep into the playoffs the first few years with a real run game. the last few years has been more of a joke with the run game. the QB they just picked up wont help at all but getting shady is a sweet deal.

Ryan likes to run the ball. McCoy will also see alot of 3rd downs. I see 375 touches this year. For fantasy owners, what more can you ask with his talent.

Plus they never threw him the ball ever! Buffalo oline bad?? F jax the oldest man to be a rb still put 100 yard games and spiller was a demon not one year ago, mccoy will be just fine.
its his spot, he will be number and used properly. Book it! I am not trading him. He will get catches out of the back field now. Not like last year with sanchize throwing deep balls and never checking down. Can't wait. Top 5 this year for sure.
The thing I have learned about Buffalo and fantasy is that no matter how good the player is, his production down the stretch fades due to terrible weather. Bitter cold and rain/snow from about week 10 on. I would wait for McCoy to start hot and then sell high.
