Matthews injured his left ankle during Sunday's loss at Minnesota, Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. "It's hard to tell from the game, but yeah, I think someone rolled up on it pretty good," Matthews said. "I was able to get through the game. It's obviously sore now. Battle through it, hopefully it progresses through the week."

After a first-quarter play in which Letroy Guion seemed to roll up on Matthews' legs, the pass rusher missed only one play as his left ankle was taped up. Matthews later took himself out of the contest for the final two minutes following a tackle of Minnesota RB Matt Asiata, never to return. As the week unfolds, the Packers will be sure to exercise the utmost caution in advance of Sunday's divisional matchup with the Lions.
