Martin (hamstring) will not play Monday night against the Panthers, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Martin has not practiced since injuring his hamstring in Week 2, so it's no surprise that he won't be involved Monday. With the Buccaneers sporting a Week 6 bye, however, Monday's absence could be Martin's last because of his current ailment. Considering fellow running back Charles Sims (knee) is also expected to be sidelined against the Panthers, Jacquizz Rodgers figures to garner the start, with Peyton Barber serving as his backup.
