Marshall may be out for the rest of the season after suffering what the Bears believe could be several fractured ribs, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports. The wide receiver's spleen is also being examined.
Marshall was taken from the stadium in an ambulance and remained at the hospital Friday to have his internal organs examined. The results of those tests are not yet available, but Rapoport's source believes the injuries could be season-ending. This would obviously be a disappointing end to a frustrating season for Marshall, and fantasy owners will likely have to turn elsewhere for the rest of the fantasy playoffs.
The guy has a possible ruptured spleen. I'd say that's pretty serious. I made fun of him for having to get taken away in an ambulance because I thought it was a little overdramatic but the injury was definitely more serious than it looked.
