Osweiler, who replaced Manning on Sunday and threw for 146 yards and a touchdown, has been considered the quarterback of the future since he was selected by the Broncos in the second round of the 2012 draft, and he will now get at least one game to show the team that he can handle the job. One big wrinkle in all of this is that former Broncos head coach John Fox is now the head coach of the Bears, while former offensive coordinator Adam Gase has the same job in Chicago, making the matchup much tougher than initially believed.
