Thirty-eight of Maclin's yards came on a beautiful deep ball for 38 yards late in the second quarter. The pass nearly doubled Maclin's previous season long. The Chief's top receiver had, from Week 12 of last season through Week 1 of this year, scored seven touchdowns in seven games - but has been scoreless in his last four games and hasn't topped 80 yards receiving in his past nine. The expanding role of Jamaal Charles should adds to the Chiefs already intimidating running game and gives Maclin a legitimate competitor for targets.
