Kerley was running with the second-team wide receivers in the preseason, and it's not clear how the coaching staff will use him as the season begins. Although he did return kicks in the preseason, new head coach Todd Bowles said that Chris Owusu, Zac Stacy or Bilal Powell will return kicks Sunday, so it appears that Kerley won't be used in that capacity.
