Jones (calf) secured 12 of 15 targets for 300 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 48-33 victory over the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Whether he was motivated by all the talk of his demise, up for a game against the reigning NFC champs and hated division rival, or a combination of both, Jones was a man on a mission Sunday and proceeded to shatter the franchise receiving record, which was also his, in the process. The Pro Bowler surpassed the 259 yards he'd managed against the Packers in 2014 and became the only player in NFL history to have 250-plus yards in a single game on more than one occasion. Jones turned in a 75-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown in the fourth quarter that vaulted him over the record and also served as his longest score since scoring on a 79-yard pass in the aforementioned performance versus Green Bay. His memorable afternoon once again puts Jones near the top of all receiving categories with 22 receptions for 488 yards over the first four weeks of the season.

And with all that, you are projecting him to have only 5 points. Serious;y?

Never understood where FF gets its projected scores from, but you can rest assure that they will frequently be off by a lot.

Yea, I don't pay any attention to the projections. I was just making the point how they made him sound so fantastic(he is) and then only give him a 5 point projection. Julio can do 5 points on his first drive.

Time to bench Julio for Tavon Austin, who is projected to have 12 more points this weekend. :)

Yea, I'll get right on that. lol. Man I would SOOO like to see Austin in another team. This is an ELITE player mired in a dysfunctional Rams passing attack. I'm a Rams fan so I watch him every week and he makes top DB's look foolish, but has no one to throw him the ball. Just last week he was wide open and Keenum missed him by 3 yards on short passes. He made Patrick Peterson actually fall down while trying to cover him.
