The Broncos placed Barron (hamstring) on injured reserve Wednesday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Barron signed with the Broncos in last August and looked as if he would have a consistent role on defense. However, this hamstring injury held him out of the first two games, and now he'll miss at least the next three contests as well. Barron is eligible to return in Week 6 versus the Dolphins.
