Head coach Hue Jackson said Thursday he is confident Thomas (knee) will be able to play in Week 7, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Thomas has yet to practice this week, but Jackson doesn't seem to be worried about his availability for Sunday. The Browns will need Thomas if they want to get Isaiah Crowell and the rest of the running game going again after two consecutive weeks of unsatisfactory performances.
