Gore gained 78 yards on 13 carries and 16 yards on two receptions (three targets) in Sunday's 34-27 loss to the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
Although the Colts abandoned their running game after falling behind in the second half, Gore still played quite a few snaps. Zurlon Tipton and the recently-signed Ahmad Bradshaw also handled a bunch of passing-down work, but Tipton didn't get any carries or targets and Bradshaw managed just 16 yards on five touches Though he could eventually lose a bit more work as Bradshaw gets comfortable, Gore remains the clear lead back for Indianapolis, heading into a favorable Week 7 home matchup with the Saints.
