Giants seventh-round RB Da'Rel Scott tallied 114 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries against the Patriots in the preseason finale. The fastest back at this year's Combine broke off a 65-yard TD one week after taking a carry 97 yards to the house. He entered the game in a competition with Andre Brown, who boasted a strong camp, for the final running back spot. The Giants will have to keep Scott because there's no way he makes it through waivers after exploding for 183 yards and two TDs on 14 preseason carries (13.1 YPC).
