Giants general manager Jerry Reese said he got a positive report from team doctors on Cruz (knee), Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.Reese also said the Giants, "can't put all your eggs in that basket", hinting that the team will still consider wide receivers in the draft. It would still be surprising if the Giants use a first or second-round pick on a wideout, with Cruz, Odell Beckham and Reuben Randle all under contract through 2015. Cruz is expected back for the start of the 2015 season, and while he'll no longer be Big Blue's top receiving threat, he still figures to have a major role in the offense, assuming his rehab goes well.

The injury he suffered could've been a career ending one happy to see he is doing well. Us Giants fans already had to deal with the loss of David Wilson to career ending injuries poor guy was very young had a good career ahead

Mets and I Giants fan!! Same here. haha Did you see the Center they picked up from the CFL? If Cruz can get back healthy, the Giants are going to have a freakin awesome group of receivers.

Not even a Giants fan, but I hope that he can regain his burst--that guy is one of the most electrifying weapons in the game!

I was really sad with what happened to him with the injury. I really liked him ever since his breakout year in 2012, and couldn't be happier to hear the good news!

He will be like a free sheep in a sense. Flying around the field like we've all seen. He seen them on Eagles fan's class. Westbroog and McNabb? Sorry, I don't think so. Good luck Cruz!
