Giants agreed to terms with RB Ryan Torain. Torain has been out of the league since the Redskins cut him on the heels of a 3.4 YPC average last December. He's a power back similar to Andre Brown while Kregg Lumpkin is a superior receiver and special teamer. Torain is the better bet to see carries as the third back in the Giants committee, but he's not yet on the fantasy radar.

Torrain looks like pure depth signing - Wilson should get the chance to p/up carries lost with Browns injury. Although he was brought along slowly and had some set backs the Giants drafted him to play this year and can be a great check down target. . .

this kid had one decent season... 3 years ago. he has been at home watching reruns of opra ever since. the only reason the giants signed him (besides as a bench warmer) is for some extra knowledge on the skins. i bet if they where not playing the skins this week, they would not have called him. expect them to cut him in a few weeks for younger, stronger legs.
