Ellerbe continues to be plagued by a nagging quadriceps issue that forced him to miss the Saints season-opening loss to the Raiders. The injury-prone linebacker played just six games throughout the 2015 season, and could be in danger of missing additional time in 2016 as his status for Week 2 against the Giants is up in the air at this point. Outside linebackers Nathan Stupar and Michael Mauti figure to be in line for additional reps if Ellerbe remains on the sideline.
