Despite trading away both Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills this offseason, the Saints did not take a wide receiver in the 2015 NFL Draft. Jones is a leading candidate to be the Saints' fourth or fifth receiver, behind Marques Colston, Brandin Cooks, and Nick Toon, reports ESPN.com. Though he slipped under the radar out of tiny Valdosta State, Jones signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent following the draft last season. During training camp he turned some heads and spent most of the year on the team's practice squad, before being promoted to the active roster in Week 15. While Jones failed to appear in a game, head coach Sean Payton referenced him during a lengthy answer on his confidence in the current receiving corps, at one point saying, "I think we're going to hear a lot of good things from Seantavius Jones and Brandon Coleman." He's still a ways away from making a fantasy impact but the wide-receiver depth chart is wide open in New Orleans and Jones' size (6-3, 200 pounds) makes him, at the very least, a formidable red-zone threat.
