Daniels has the inside track to a WR roster spot after Kevin Norwood was traded Monday to the Panthers.

Daniels' versatility has really impressed in training camp. His transition from QB to WR has gone smoothly, he's become the backup kick returner and he can be the emergency quarterback, if needed. If Paul Richardson goes on the PUP list, as expected, Daniels would be the sixth WR on the roster, with Kevin Smith and Kasen Williams slightly behind him. He'll likely be inactive most weeks, though, even if he makes the team.
