EDGE Analysis
After keeping quiet for much of the game, Cousins was an Anquan Boldin touchdown away of leading a Washington comeback. The passer led Washington to its first touchdown of the game midway through the fourth quarter with a one-yard dump off to Rob Kelley and then followed up with a 19-yard keep on a zone read for Washington's second score - giving them the lead with just moments left. Running the ball was an underrated component of Cousins' game last season - ranking among the top quarterbacks with five rushing scores. Cousins is on pace for six fewer touchdown passes than last year, but the pace drops to nine off when you factor in rushing - illustrating why Cousins is not performing as well this season from a fantasy perspective despite an uptick in yardage.
