EDGE Analysis

With reports swirling that Cousins may get the nod over Robert Griffin (concussion) in Week 1, Cousins came out and threw an interception on an attempted screen pass on his third play of the game. He did fare better thereafter, but he largely settled for shorter throws, and his touchdown came on a deflection. All in all, it was an unimpressive but not disastrous performance, which marks somewhat of a departure from his wildly inconsistent play in the past. It's still entirely unclear who will be under center in Week 1.
