Coach Doug Pederson is optimistic Sproles (quadriceps) will return to action Sunday against the Bears, Mike Kaye of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Sproles practiced this week for the first time since injuring his quad in Week 5, providing reason to believe he'll be back on the field Sunday. The veteran has yet to turn in a full practice, however, so he may need to do so Friday in order to avoid carrying an injury designation into the Week 9 contest.
